During confinement can you go Chinese New Year visiting?

Really depends - are you at the beginning or end of confinement? Relatives means direct family or extended? Is there a spare room for you to feed baby in comfort, sleep with baby if necessary?

I will try to rest at home during my confinement as I do not wish to make myself overtired after all the visiting. Even if I go for chinese new year visiting, I will not bring my baby along.

For me I won’t. The relatives should understand that both mother needs rest to recuperate and newborn baby immunity is still weak so need to avoid crowded places with many people around.

If you are fit to go and baby is healthy enough to go, why not? I honestly don’t understand all those restrictions they put on women during confinement just because of superstitions...

Is better not too not good.I just finish confinement n didnt go out visiting any relative cause baby still small. I didnt buy any new clothes and only buy goodies to eat.

Depends but generally not suppose to. Both baby n mummy too vulnerable to be out long. Maybe pple can come ur house a short while

Nope. I wont as I looked like s*** during confinement and some people may be pantang that you are still "dirty".

I'm doing my confinement at my mom's place and I only visit my PIL..
