Does PD perform development check on baby?

Does your PD performs development checks on LO for every vaccination visit? LO just went for second vaccination at TMC at 3.5mth old, but PD only ask simple questions such as if baby is smiling, laughing, making different sounds and is lifting heads up during tummy time that’s all. But didn’t do any activities on the spot such as holding his hands and try to see if baby can lift up himself and etc.
