low lying placenta

Does any mommies know what are the do's and dont's for low placenta? Doctor advised me not to carry heavy things and also no sex. Is it ok for me to cross legs while sitting on bed?

Yes, don’t over-exert yourself, and no sex, which can cause bleeding. You can sit with your legs crossed. Your placenta is still in your womb, just that it’s covering the womb’s opening (cervix). Also monitor for bleeding/cramps. If you have them, please go to the hospital. Take care, dear!
