I experienced lower backaches in the earlier part of 1st trimester... Like the aches I felt before/during menstruation. I read that it could be due to the increase in hormones. Now I am at 13weeks and I have body aches due to the lack of exercise (I'm told by my gynae not to exercise till 2nd trimester)... I think it depends. If you're still worried, check with your doctor!

Try prenatal yoga classes. In the class you will be introduced to poses (e.g downward facing dog, child pose) that stretches your back and strengthen your glutes and back to prepare you for the extra weight.

So far i havent experience backaches yet. But i think its normal due to the bump u are carrying.

I more to like ' sour' feel instead of backache. If is unbearable pls let ur gynae know.
