I didn’t lose my mucus plug or have any bloody shows even till I’m in the hospital (Baby was overdued). I was induced so contractions only kicks in when they insert the pills. So I guess it depends on individuals.
not everyone has it. i didn't have both but only had contractions. until i reached the labour ward (one day before baby born) only then i saw a bloody show.
I had mucus plug and bloody show before contractions.
