Does epidural cause long term back aches?

I ended up having terrible back problems. I ended up having an MRI and found that my S1 and L5 having some problems I think that's where they inserted the epidural. My back hurts like hell and that was last when I gave birth, and now I am pregnant again and my back hurts again
