Braxton hicks or real labour?

Does braxton hicks suppose to make you feel like youre having strong menstrual cramps/the feeling of pooping? Or is it real labour?

Both can feel like strong cramps but real labour contractions will come at regular intervals. Intervals will get shorter and contractions stronger.
