Babies have dreams as well and their dreams are related to their learning and experiences of the day. Therefore, it is not uncommon to observe infants fussing or sometimes crying in their sleep. Crying during sleep is likely the baby processing a traumatic experience such as not being attended to earlier in the day, and his/her crying was simply a response to that situation in the dream.
Yes, they do! As Hui Qun mentioned, that's why babies cry in their sleep. Sleeping babies enter the REM (rapid eye movement) sleep phase — the one in which adults dream. Newborns spend half their sleep time in REM, accompanied by jerking eyeballs, twitching bodies and a characteristic saw-toothed pattern on brain scans. http://m.livescience.com/33702-babies-dream-sleep.html

Yes i guess . If you notice babies' eyes' moving during sleep beneath the eyelids, then it is certain that they might be dreaming. Study often say their dreams mostly include imagery and without any speech.
