Pregnancy

dilated cervix with no signs of labor.

Doc says my cervix dilated 3cm at week 35. Was given 2 jab to speed up baby's lung development as well as contraction pills to be taken 3 times daily. However, I did not feel any contractions. Was advise to go on bed rest to delay labor til week 37 if possible. Anyone experience this? Usually how long will a 3cm dilated cervix last till give birth, without any signs of labor? First time mum here.

Hi, i was 2cm dilated at 38weeks plus and no sign of labour too. Tomorrow is my due date and im currently 3cm dilated, but im admitting tmr for labour. So dilation doesn’t mean it’s the sign of labour, but if there’s any contractions or bleeding then go hospital. If not, just relax till baby is ready to come out.
