Being ”too clean" is not good else they will fall sick very easily when in a "not so clean" environment. I'm a believer in just soap and water.

Washing their hands with regular soap and water is good enough.

might be abit harsh, normal baby soap and water works

I too will just stick to a mild soap and water.

for normal usage soap is better
