Confirming pregnancy

Did the doctor at the polyclinic do any tests to confirm your pregnancy? I was expecting a urine test or blood test, but doctor only said “the pregnancy test you did at home is good enough”. Just wondering if this is the standard practice?

I went polyclinic and Dr did urine test, she said they need to do to double confirm before she can give me referral.

I did the same and doctor said the same thing. But I told him I want to confirm and he did a urine test for me

Yeah I went to poly too, and dr made me do urine test to confirm pregnancy before referring to KKH

Hi, can I know for your case, how long is the wait to schedule appointment at KKH after polyclinic referral? Is it only to do 1st scan at week 8 of your pregnancy?

not sure how much it changed, but when I did in May at amk polyclinic, I had urine test.

Went to poly but they just refer me to KKH because i already tested positive on the kit

Experienced the same thing and for some reason that makes me a little anxious
