My PD prescribed zyrtec liquid for my infant who was having bouts of cold. It did clear up her blocked nose, more so than sterimar. My baby's still under 6 months so her dosage is use a couple of drops each night. I used sterimar sporadically because I think prolonged use can dry up the nasal cavity and I didn't think it does much for my baby.

i use nasal aspirator from lollababy to clear my LO nose. Used it twice a day. As she gets older, i reduce it to once a day or fortnightly. she's now 6mths turning 7. but someone mentioned to me that it's not good to use everyday cause baby will get use to it??? not sure but I don't really care as long as baby's nose is clear from booger.

If your baby is having a cold or flu it may take 1 or 2 weeks to clear up on its own. Not a lot can be done sadly. I've tried humidifier, putting a cut onion in the room, wearing socks for baby. Not sure if those help, but my baby got better eventually after a few days.

I will spray 3-4 times for saline water, and then use nasal aspirator to take what can be taken out. Sleep prop up. Do this until LO recovers

You can try the nasal aspirator. Also is baby sleeping in an air con room?

sterimar
