Mt Elizabeth (orchard) or Mt Alvernia?

Both are private hospitals so the care level is generally quite good, but they do have different vibes. Mt Alvernia has a long reputation for maternity specifically, and a lot of mummies say the nurses there are very experienced with newborns and breastfeeding support, which matters a lot in those first days. Mt E Orchard is more of a general acute hospital, so facilities are very modern and it can feel a bit more clinical, whereas Alvernia tends to feel warmer and more focused on the maternity experience. I would lean towards Alvernia if maternity care and postnatal support are your priority, but if your gynae is more established at Mt E and you trust your doctor, that matters just as much lah.
