Is he having stresses at work? Try to talk more to your husband and concern about him. Sometimes when the baby has come into the family, mummy tends to neglect husband as too occupied with the baby. Try to raise your concern over his acts and ways of handling baby. I believe no parent will harm their own little child. Maybe what he needs is a stress management help.

Is Your hubby spending more time with the baby? Not just playing or feeding the bottle but spending the time bathing, talking and even singing to put the baby to sleep. My Son is 6 month old now. I used to feel frustrated and tend to be aggressive too. I hit the wall with my fist and raise my voice but never abusive toward my Wife and child

There is a type of depression known as irritable depression, which your husband might be suffering from. Do contact a mental health professional. Any sign of violence or abuse must be taken seriously as you never know when he might lay hands on you or the baby. https://www.imh.com.sg/contact-us/

My husb turned imaginative and passive aggressive aft our first child was born. On and off he sees a counselor but I feel there's no improvement. Good to get professional psychiatrist

Don't seem to have any psychiatrists in Singapore that deals with paternal postnatal depression but I do believe the regular psychiatrists would be able to handle the case.

Get him to join the dads group here on parent town. What about giving him some time off?
