When i was preg, my cousins and mum ask me to avoid carbonated drinks to avoid jaundice. My baby didnt have jaundice.
Honestly, nothing can be done to avoid it. It is common esp for Asia babies. If your baby is high on Jaundice, just make sure he/she takes in enough milk so the baby will purge our jaundice. If you are planning to breast feed, avoid jaundice or too much Chinese medicine after birth.
