Hainan with kids

Could someone tell me how Hainan is? Was thinking to take a trip there as the pictures look beautiful, but I have never heard anything about it.

Nice but dont expect fancy entertainment. Can recommend Hayatt there if traveling with kids (nice pools and playroom and good selection of restaurants plus a package: kids eat free.)
