Hey, I think cold sweats at night are actually pretty common around this stage, your body's going through so much hormonal change, and pregnancy can mess with temperature regulation quite a bit. A few mums I know experienced the same thing around 16 weeks and their doctors reassured them it was normal; one of them mentioned her gynae said the baby is well insulated and not affected by it at all, which gave her peace of mind. The main thing is to keep your sleeping area cool, wear breathable fabrics, and maybe keep a towel handy to freshen up if needed, some mums found that helpful for getting back to sleep. That said, if the sweats are really drenching or you're feeling feverish or unwell alongside them, it's worth flagging with your own doctor or gynae just to rule out anything else like an infection. Hope it settles down soon!

How long has it been happening and is it just at night or throughout the day? Cold sweats during pregnancy can just be hormones going haywire but if it’s frequent and comes with dizziness or heart palpitations do get it checked out by ur gynae sooner rather than later. In the meantime make sure u’re staying hydrated, wear breathable clothing and keep the room cool. Dun ignore it if it keeps happening ya 🙏
