baby body temperature

Checked baby forehead temp suddendly 38c. After a while check again back to 37.1c. triple check with ear and armpit, temperature is within the normal range. Baby is happy, drinks and nap as per normal. So wondering if Forehead temperature tend to be higher? Baby is 2 months old.

The forehead one can be influenced by the environment. For newborns the hospital usually just use armpit. I usually just check the ear temp.
