Super Mum

No, please don’t. Eggs should not be a starting food, because of higher allergy risk. Start with fruit/vegetable puree, or baby rice cereals. Introduce only the egg yolk (fully cooked, not runny) at maybe 8-9 months and check for allergic reaction. If there’s none, then introduce the egg white (fully cooked, not runny closer to 1 year old. Previously the guideline was after 1 year old, but now studies have shown that you can give it before). Egg white proteins have a higher risk of allergy than egg yolk, so introduce them separately. Undercooked eggs also have a much higher risk of infection to the baby, so never give runny eggs. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much
