Can I teach my 5-m.o. on how to sit on her own or will she learn it automatically by herself?

Thanks Jorelle. Because I have heard that sitting is a prerequisite to feeding the baby with solids that's why I'm worried that ny daughter can't still sit on her own and she's 5-m.o already.
