Alpha thalassemia trait

Both of us were tested alpha thalassemia trait. Will this passed to our baby? Need advice

Your baby might inherit the alpha thalassemia but normally this trait does not cause any health problems unless you're both a beta trait.

Today went for thalassemia registry to do blood test. The nurse told me that there is a 25 % rate baby might be tested with Thalassemia major as both of us have Alpha thalassemia trait. Waiting for the result. Hope everything is OK.
