Before I start work, I have been latching baby a few times a day. My baby loved me to latch and can latch for quite long.
Now that I am back to work, I started not to latch my baby anymore (zero or one time) as I’m very tired after work and long traveling time back home.
My baby is slowly rejecting my boobs whenever I try to latch him. I don’t know why am I feeling heartbroken and bittersweet. Somehow I miss the bonding and times I look at him latching, but not the painful suction from him. I hope he won’t forget I’m the mommy too 🥲
How do I make him latch back again? Is this a nursing strike? Or baby is unfamiliar with latching since I have stopped latching now?
