Balak ko ng mag pa TVs/ ultrasound nextweek okay lang ba na gamitin ko na last name ni hubby sa mga check up/untrasound records ko? Hindi pa ko nakakapag change status or last name sa sss and philhealth. Hindi ba ko mag kaka problem sa pag process ng Maternity benefits pag ka ganon? FTM here.

Ay, congrats sa pregnancy! Honestly, I'd suggest double-checking with your OB or the clinic mismo bago ka mag-ultrasound, kasi ang maternity benefits processing ay strict talaga with documents, a few of us had issues before when names didn't match perfectly sa records. Better safe than sorry, especially FTM pa lang kaya maraming unknowns na, diba? Pwede mo rin i-clarify sa SSS at PhilHealth kung pwede mo na i-update ang last name nang mas mabilis, or kung kelangan talaga ng updated ID para sa maternity benefits, mas malinaw if you ask them directly. Kakapagod ang pag-follow up ng benefits, so better na settled na lahat ng paperwork from the start!
