Almost 2 months old baby not sleeping during day time.

Hello, My baby is turning 2 months next week and recently he is not sleeping for the entire day and will only sleep at night. Sometimes with carrying, he will sleep but not on his bed alone. Am worried because he went to babysitter's place yesterday and he is not sleeping as well for the entire day. Will he be fine if not sleeping?
