Do you use cot bumpers?

My baby started sitting and she can fall back and hit her head.. recently started to pull to stand also. But I saw that it’s actually not safe? I’ve been more cautious, not even any soft toy or pillows but I know my friends put pillows and soft toys.. Want to know what do other fellow mummies do? Thanks!

How old is your baby already? My baby 9months+ and i put my baby in the playpen about same size as the baby cot. My wooden cot seldom use already. I know babies will fall and knock but i always follow tightly whenever he's on the floor. Its very very stressful for me :(

Oh dear, got bruise/bump? I heard playpen bed too soft for babies too. I bought extra mattress to stack, so now its double mattress. If keep falling n hitting baby's head also no good, thats why i put playpen. Maybe you can find harder mattress put in playpen. Or have to find ways to wrap your current cot up with materials to soften the fall. Very stressful i know :(
