it is possible that because your baby has just started solids, she is suffering from severe constipation. if she is crying while doing potty it is likely that she is already suffering from haemerrhoids around the anal area. please immediately increase her liquid intake and reduce the solids for now. also, get her examined by the doc immediately. you may not be able to see the rashes or haemerrhoids but the doc will be able to spot if they are there. these can be very painful. when your baby does hard stool, it creates friction around the anal area and there are small cuts that develop. these become painful and may even bleed when the baby passes stool. please get her checked ASAP. also, check for lactose intolerance ASAP

It seems your little one is suffering from constipation. As you have started solid to your baby, include more of fiber in her food. Give her enough fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Increase your child's fluid intake. If she becomes dehydrated, her system will respond by absorbing more fluid from whatever she eats or drinks and also from the waste in her bowels. This results hard and dry stools that are difficult to pass. Encourage your child to play and walk more. Movement will help in blood flow to her digestive system. Give her prune juice or apple juice. It works in softening the stool.
