Baby fell asleep when feeding

My baby fell asleep many times during feeding. Sometimes she don't wake up even burp her or shake her gently to wake her up. In the end, I have to pour away the milk and it's such a wastage. If I don't feed her, she will cry. But I admit sometimes I can't tell if she is hungry or just cranky and want to sleep. What should I do? Is this normal?#pleasehelp #FTM

Split ur milk into 2 bottles and keep 1 in the fridge and 1 for feeding. If milk is not enough for first bottle then can heat up the 2nd one to continue feeding. This way there shouldn’t be any wastage. Try to monitor the volume of milk ur LO drinks before falling asleep then can gauge how much milk to split into multiple bottles.

it takes awhile to get used to bb’s cues, it’s normal for babies to sleep during feed. you can pour out lesser and probably stand by another bottle for next feed instead?
