6 Week Old Baby Drinks Less Milk

My baby is 7 weeks old today. When he turned 6 weeks old, his daily milk intake dropped from around 1,000ml to around 700-800ml. Is there a reason? Start or end of growth spurt? Anyone else experienced something similar?
