by 16 months I slowly introduce outside food. starting with non oily and food with less taste. my lo is also on homecook even until now she's 3. I've just slowly started her to eat outside food like noodle soup, porridge. was pretty strict on the food that we gave her as well. can slowly let parents give them good I feel. eg for pau I would used to only give the pau without the skin and filling.
After a year you can slowly n steadily introduce outside food but ensure ur choosing healthy options 🙂
