At what month can I stop keeping baby upright for burping after a feeding?

It varies on when baby is able to sit. My son was able to sit with support at about 4, coming 5 months so that was when I realized that I could stop burping him.

After they learn how to sit upright and are able to burp on their own. For me was about 5 months.
