Uy, FTM anxiety is real! Honestly, ang experience ko sa public hospital was okay naman, medyo matagal ang waiting time pero very supportive ang nurses, lalo na kapag mahirap ang labor mo. From my circle, the usual process is: you go in, they do initial check-up and monitoring, then you're in the labor room where they monitor contractions until you're ready to push, and after delivery they clean baby up and do the newborn screening right there. Maraming mums I know swear na public hospitals are actually very equipped para sa normal deliveries, kaya hindi mo dapat mag-worry too much, just bring copies of documents, your prenatal records, at maraming comfort items like a pillow from home para mas bearable ang waiting!
