G6PD New Born Screening
Hello ask ko lang sino po may baby na nagpositive sa confirmatory test ng new born screening? ask ko lang ano po yung magandang formula milk na pwede na inadvice ng pedia sa inyo?.. Thank you!
Ay, G6PD lang yan at hindi lang formula ang adjustment, mas importante talaga ang pagpili ng safe foods at medicines para sa baby mo. I'd really suggest talking directly with your pediatrician about formula recommendations kasi sila ang makakagabay best sa condition ng baby mo, at may iba-ibang brands na pwedeng mag-suggest based sa severity ng G6PD at kung ano pang health considerations ang may baby mo. One of my mum friends's son also came back positive, at ang pedia nila was super helpful in going through what to avoid (like certain meds at certain foods), so don't worry, it's manageable talaga once you know what to watch out for!
