Can the EFW rapidly increase from 2.2kg in 35 Weeks to 3kg until week 38 or 39?

Anyones baby measured small in their growth scan but turned out to be big at the time of delivery? My baby's EFW at 28+5 weeks was 1.13 kg (13th percentile), then at 32+5 weeks was 1.77kg (11.8 percentile) and today at 35 weeks its measuring at 2.2 kg (9.6 percentile), since my percentile kept decreasing i have been diagnosed with Small for gestational age (SGA), although my doc says he isnt concerned since my baby is growing at a steady speed of 200 grams per week, but i will most likely have a baby measuring up to 2.8 kg by 38 or 39 weeks which is when i'll most likely be induced. So anyone whos baby measured small but turned out bigger than their estimated weight, please share your experience.
