I went through a surgical abortion with Dr Jen Shek Wei and was around 7 weeks at the time. I went to his clinic for an ultrasound and consultation where he explained everything clearly, and the procedure was done the same day without hospitalisation. I was sedated and felt some cramping afterward, like a strong period, but the pain was manageable with medication, and I rested at home.

I did at SGH around 8/9 weeks. Inserted pill, followed by anaesthesia. Woke up around 20-30 minutes later and everything was done. Just small amount of bleeding afterwards. I do regret having an abortion even after all these years so I'd recommend that you think it clearly before you decide to do it. It's a life after all and your life won't be the same

Any pain or cramps after the procedure?

I don't have clinic to recommend but if i didn't recall wrongly before week 24 you are still able to abort. It can be done via medication or surgical depending on how far along you are into the pregnancy
