I when through OGT much earlier as mine is IVF pregnancy, my age & my BMI. Reading is generally done 5mins before food and 2hrs after food. Before food reading is 4.4 to 5.5 mmol/L and 2hrs after food is 5.5 to 6.6 mmol/L (for pregnant ladies). A slight increase intake of portion size or sugar contents can impact my readings 🤦🏻♀️ So even though I am following diet by the dietitian my ObGyn still put me on metFormin to be on the safe side. I did asked what will happen if the sugar level is not controlled, they told me the baby can get too big or worst case miscarriage. Also after delivery they will still ask me to monitor for 6mths just to make sure I won’t be a diabetic later after labour. So it will be a long journey. Hopes this info helps. ☺️ Just be cautious of what u take daily and like all the nurses told me many times now is not about what I want but is for the sake of baby’s health. So as a mom I have to do what best for my baby. ☺️ be strong k 💪🏻
