anyone tried before chicco brand carrier? is it suitable for newborns onwards? does it need infant insert? TIA

The Chicco brand baby carriers are usually narrow based, which isn't ergonomic for baby and parent. I wouldn't recommend. Chicco brand for infants I would not recommend. You may want to look at Tula, Manduca or Baba sling. I personally like this 3brands.
