Anyone in 2nd Trimester with twins and took flight?

Hi, anyone travelled(plane) during 2nd tri carrying twins? Hw was your experience and where did you go?

Twins in second trimester is generally considered the safer window to fly since nausea usually settles and you're not yet too big, but with twins the fatigue hits differently, someone in my mum group mentioned her friend felt completely wiped out even at 20 weeks, so a 6+ hour flight is a different story compared to a singleton pregnancy. The practical tips that seem to help most are compression socks, walking the aisle regularly, and staying very well hydrated throughout the flight. The bigger thing to weigh is the viability factor, by around 24 weeks, if anything unexpected happens at your destination, you would be managing it there, so most twin mums tend to keep trips shorter and closer to home in the second tri. My lean would be: if you do go, keep the flight under 4, 5 hours and make sure your destination has a decent hospital, just for peace of mind.
