Not necessarily. Depends where you’ve purchased your maternity insurance I guess. For my first pregnancy, I applied with Manulife and took less than a week.
Mine was private. The doctor gave me my medical results, together with a signed form (can’t remember what form) and I submitted it to my FA. And he got it processed.
