Im staying in Punggol too and due in a week or so. To be honest I agree the plane noise can be overwhelming but there isnt much we can do abt it. My BB moves quite a bit in my tummy whenever the plane flies by and what I try to do is to talk to her abt the planes being part of everyday and that there is nothing to be scared of. Hoping that will condition her and when she arrives ..she will be used to the noise during day time 😊 anyway she will just have to learn abt day vs night so as long as night time less stimulation n noises shld be ok with the sleep training.

Hi! I don’t stay in punggol but my neighbor started renovation 1-2 weeks prior to my EDD. I was so stressed out haha. My sister suggested I buy this earmuffs from qoo10 for my newborn and it was helpful! May be useful for you if you can anticipate the timings of the jet plane exercises. Also agree that white noise is helpful. Below is the free app that I like to use. Jiayou mummy! https://www.babybanzsingapore.com Check out Sound Sleeper app on the App Store http://itunes.apple.com/app/id507967709, on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?

thanks for the useful tips!

newborn generally sleeps regardless of any noise, in any case, you won't be able to stop the plane cause you are living there, it will be good that baby is used to the noise instead.

I’m stayed at Punggol East. I’m just let my lo to get use the sound.:)

No. Even I’m vacuum the floor, she will just look around or sleep. But she cried loudly when I’m sneezing. :( For me, just let her to get use the sound. :)
