I recently had my baby and I was GBS positive and induced, so I understand your concerns. In my experience, the hospital administered IV antibiotics immediately upon admission, starting the induction process simultaneously. The goal is to ensure you receive at least one or two doses before delivery, so induction typically doesn’t need to be delayed unless necessary. Hospitals and doctors may vary in their approaches, so it’s best to discuss your situation with your doctor for peace of mind. Wishing you a smooth delivery—you've got this!

Hello! I had GBS and had to be induced. It was together for me? I was induced 3 times. Hahaha and finally after I had some cramps then brought me to delivery suite and started iv drip. So technically after/during induced, I got the iv drip!

I was induced 3 times, so finally the 3rd time I started feeling pain the next morning or a few hours after, thats when they send me straight to delivery suite and started the iv antibiotics. Nuh! Not too sure what but it was pill :)

Induce first then iv antibiotics. Induce via vagina, iv drip via hand. Take note, will need antibiotics every 6hrs.
