Hi, companies can't reject... as long as it's a valid HL issued by the gynae.... You can look up in MOM, there is a clause for HL for pregnancies... also, companies can't just call gynae directly. they will need to submit application forms to the hospital and there is payment chargeable to access our medical records ... it's not that straightforward....
If rejected, please report your MOM. Usually no they wont check as long as have a legit hospital leave cert given by hospital. For KKH, therell be a qr code on the cert which they can scan if really dont believe.
They shouldn’t and probably can’t reject if it’s HL. They usually won’t since it’s provided by hospital and hospital won’t release any information to them also.
I dun tink it can be rejected. Staff themselves may not want the hl though. I dun tink the companies so free to call up n verify too….
