Hey! Don't worry too much yet, but it's also worth paying attention since 20 months is on the later side for independent walking. One thing that actually works well is getting a small sturdy chair and practising having him grab onto it to pull himself up to standing, this builds the leg muscles he needs and gets him used to bearing his weight upright. My friend brought her son to a paediatric physiotherapist when he was around this age for the same issue, and she said they gave very targeted exercises that made a real difference within a few weeks. You can also try "cruising" practice, holding his hands and encouraging him to walk along the sofa or a low table, so he builds confidence gradually rather than feeling pressured to just go for it all at once. That said, since he's already 20 months, it's really worth getting a proper check with your PD or a paediatric specialist, just to rule out any underlying muscle tone issues, better to know early than to wait and see.
