Late period + negative result ~ any similar experiences?

Anyone has similar experiences? I tested around 3–4 days after my missed period using a digital kit, and it came back negative. Now it’s been about 6 days, and still no period. Does a negative result at that point usually mean it’s final? I’ve bought another test (the line-strip type) and was thinking it might more sensitive than the digital one, but I haven’t had the courage to try yet… a bit worried about another disappointment. Extra information: a few weeks ago, I used a Clearblue ovulation kit but didn’t catch any surge, though we still baby dance for a few days around that time.

you could have ovulated later than usual due to stress sickness or other factors. if you were healthily pregnant you would get a positive test. if the test is late to show, it could signal delayed implantation (potentially not a viable pregnancy)

If ur period was always on time before and now is 6 days delay I would go to do hCG test (blood test in a clinic) which will be better than kit tests.

I experienced that previously too. I went to do a blood test and my period came like few days after. It was delayed period after all

If I got a positive already and hcg home kit show positive. Do I still need to go kkh to confirm at 4 weeks?

If it shows positive, it is usually positive. For my second child I got a negative in the beginning, then 1 week later got a faded line. Everything was just fine, seems like my ovulation was a bit late that month. I didn’t go to hospital early. I went to hospital only at Week 8-9, around that time they can check for heartbeat and confirm pregnancy.

Test your first pee in the morning and if still negative then it's probably just stress
