Havent seen him before but based on what I have read from others, he seems to be the type of gynae who suits mummies who prefer a no-frills, experienced doctor over one who is chatty and hand-holdy. If you are a first-time mum who needs a lot of reassurance and explanation, you might find the style a bit clinical. But you won’t know till you meet him. He's been in private practice since 1991 and is very experienced, with fellowships from both the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK. So credentials-wise he is solid. For other North East area gynaes, mummies often recommend those based at Tampines or Bedok polyclinics for referrals first, or private options like gynaes at Parkway East Hospital which is accessible from the east-northeast.
