Private Gynae
Hi.. anyone has appointment with Dr K T Tan at KKH recently.. previously with Dr Jessie but she no longer with KKH.. will like to knw how is Dr K T Tan..
Wah, actually my mum's WhatsApp group was just discussing Dr KT Tan (Dr Tan Kim Teng) not long ago! She's a Senior Consultant in O&G at KKH, very experienced one, been there since like 2004, so her track record is quite solid lah. One mum in the group said she successfully delivered under Dr KT Tan and would highly recommend her, even went through an induced labour journey and felt well taken care of. But to be fair, a few others mentioned she can come across as quite cold and not very warm in her bedside manner, so if you're the type who needs a more chatty, friendly gynae, might take some getting used to lor. I think the general feel is, experience-wise she's very competent, it's more the personality side that's hit-or-miss depending on the patient. Maybe go for one consultation first and see how you feel, different people click differently mah!
