Anyone had Dexamethasone The painful injection on thigh

Anyone had that injection? I had that during 28week when I admitted for pain. Anyone gave birth at 36weeks after getting that? Like does it help?

It's a steroid injection to mature baby's lungs. I took it twice. First, 13 yrs ago when I was admitted at 34 weeks. Gave birth at 36 weeks. Second, 4 mths ago. Gave birth at 35+6 weeks due to an infection because I had a premature rupture of my waterbag.
