Clearblue digital false positive

I really feel you on this, seeing "pregnant 1-2 weeks" on the digital then getting a negative blood test must be so confusing and stressful, hang in there okay! A true false positive on Clearblue digital is actually quite rare, usually only happens if got certain medical conditions like some ovarian cysts, or if recently had a pregnancy before, or was on fertility jabs that contain hCG. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group mentioned her sister had a "pregnant" reading but it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy lah, so the test wasn't exactly wrong, there was some hCG there, just that the pregnancy didn't continue, which is heartbreaking but good to know. hCG doubles every 48 hours in early pregnancy, so sometimes the blood test timing matters a lot, if done too early the levels can still be very low. Definitely worth going back to her own doctor or specialist to retest and get a proper explanation, because every situation is a bit different and only her doctor can really give her the full picture, don't just leave it, get it checked properly!
