anyone experience bleeding/blood show but cervix still not open when you go to labour ward? how long does the bleeding last? currently at my 39(+3d) weeks. (doctor did the 'sweep' one day before)
Exactly the same as what you just described. Actually I had regular contractions for a while, which happily stopped the moment I went to the hospital 😔. I asked my baby why she was trolling me. Hahaha. Not even my first baby. And so, the next 6 days, I continued to have contractions, some pretty painful, and when I went for my regular gynae appt, I was already 4cm.. but I told her I’m not going to the delivery suite until my contractions are regular. Lol. Because I was so traumatised about being sent home (it’s not easy when I had already prepped my elder daughter the first time, and got sent home). So I waited about 12 more hours, when I was in agony, before I went down 😂
