Anyone bought this kind of mozzie trap light to be placed outside the house? Is it effective?

I have something similar at home as i live in a dengue clustered area. There's occassionally the snap sound, i guess it's either the mozzies or flies. No harm having one around the house, on top of the rest of the measures we can take.
