New Mt Alvernia maternity wards

Anyone already experienced the new wards at the new St Anne building? Able to share how was the experience like and what ward type you went for? Thanks! Personally deciding between normal single and premium single since the price difference isn’t significant. #pleasehelp

From what I've gathered, the new St Anne Mother and Child Centre has quite a range, Premium Suite, Junior Suite, Premium Single, Standard Single, and Double rooms, so there's something for different budgets and needs. Since you're deciding between Standard Single and Premium Single and the price gap isn't huge, I'd lean toward Premium Single just for that extra comfort during recovery, especially if you're planning to have your husband room in. A friend who delivered there recently said the newer facilities do make a difference in how rested you feel those first few days. That said, it's worth asking the hospital directly what exactly differs between the two room types in terms of size and amenities, so you can judge if the upgrade is worth it for your specific situation.
